Here is a list of local organizations accepting donations and providing resources to those who need them.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Adopt A Family

Originated by one caring individual, Paula Pratt, it grew beyond her means to keep up and is now being run through Viroqua Church of Christ. Call them at 608-637-3549 between 9am and 1pm to connect family-to-family with folks in need.

Food and Meal Help

General List of Needs:

Bottled water, non-perishable foods.  Ready to eat items such as fresh fruit and granola/ meal bars.  Some folks lack refrigeration or cooking facilities.  Help at meal prep sites is very appreciated- arrange directly with those at the site for needs.

Supplies, Clothes, Etc.

General List of Needs:

Toilet paper. Paper Towel, baby wipes, tissues. Spray bottles.  Towels, wash cloths, socks, underwear, Depends, personal hygiene products such as toothpaste, tooth brushes, body soap, deodorant and shampoo. First aid items such as band aids, iburprofen, Tylenol, allergy relief. 

Cleaning supplies, buckets, vinegar, general cleaners, laundry baskets.  Hand tools- dust masks, hammers, utility knives, pry bars, shovels, heavy duty trash bags, gloves.

Pet food & supplies

*Many places are full up on clothing and household items.  Generous donations have poured in and met the immediate clothing needs.  Right now many folks are still in recovery mode and not able to start rebuilding yet, they are mucking out closets and are not ready to refill them.  Please check below for donation details. 

  • Larger items such as ovens, washer/ dryers, sheet rock, insulation, etc. are being organized by Paula Pratt on the Coulee Region Flooding Clean-up 2018 Facebook page.

*Another great way to help is doing laundry.
